Our B.A., B.S. programs in public health are among nation's first!
The Arnold School of Public Health was one of the nation's first schools of public health to offer B.A. and B.S. degree programs. These programs, established in 2008, complement our nationally recognized B.S. degree program in exercise science. Begun in response to the nation's growing shortage of public health professionals, the undergraduate programs will provide you with the specialized knowledge and skills you will need for myriad career opportunities. You may choose to protect the environment, prevent the spread of disease, enhance the health and wellbeing of people here or abroad, or affect changes in policy and law to ensure the rights of all citizens to a healthy world. In an age of rapid changes in new knowledge and technologies, public health professionals will require a broad education that emphasizes problem-solving skills and an understanding of ethical behavior. Our commitment to you is a first-rate, well-rounded education that will prepare you for a career in service to humanity.
We look forward to working with you in these degrees.
