ARNOLD SCHOOL OFFICE OF RESEARCH

The Arnold School of Public Health promotes active faculty, research staff, and student engagement in scholarly activities and identifies and facilitates collaborative research opportunities in areas that are integral to the science and practice of public health.

In fiscal year 2014 (July 2013 - June 2014), the Arnold School received more than $30 million in total awards, including $23 million in research funding, $12.7 million of which is from the National Institutes of Health. The Arnold School also receives funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Science Foundation, the Environmental Protection Agency, the National Atmospheric and Oceanic Administration, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation as well as from a variety of other federal, state, corporate, and private sources.

With support from these funding agencies and organizations, the Arnold School provides an environment conducive to research where its faculty, staff, and students can be successful at the highest possible levels.

The Arnold School Office of Research was founded in 2001 to assist Arnold School faculty, staff, students, and their research partners with activities related to increasing research productivity for the School.
