2013 PAPH Courses
The 2013 PAPH Courses dates will be held on September 10-18, 2013, in Park City, Utah.
About PAPH
The Physical Activity and Public Health (PAPH) Courses
include an 8-day Postgraduate Course on Research
Directions and Strategies and a 6-day Practitioner's
Course on Community Interventions. The long-term goal of
the courses is to improve the public's health by
increasing the number of public health researchers and
practitioners who have expertise in the relationship
between physical activity and health in populations.
The courses are held in September of each year.
Acceptance into the program is on a competitive basis.
Approximately 25 fellows are accepted for each course.
Criteria for acceptance include professional
credentials, experience, and potential to enhance public
health research and practice.
The Physical Activity and Public Health Courses are
currently in their 19th year of successful training for
professionals in the field and received the 2004 CDC
Prevention Research Center Award for Excellence in
Training and Technical Assistance.
The PAPH Courses will be held September 10-18, 2013 in Park City, UT.
