Services

Because of our affiliation with the University of South Carolina and Arnold School of Public Health, the Office for the Study of Aging serves as the connection among research, state agencies, and the community.

OSA has an established track record of developing and providing training to improve the care of older adults. We provide training to long-term care professionals including nurses, certified nursing assistants, personal care assistants, activity directors, social workers, and caregivers.

The Office for the Study of Aging provides technical assistance and assistance in evaluation for several projects concerning older persons in South Carolina.
