BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

As the Workforce Development Associate for the South Carolina Public Health Training Center, Xavery is responsible for assessing the state public health workforce and working collaboratively with partners in assisting with the mapping of public health competencies to curriculum development and trainings. Xavery also works to develop career trajectory plans that are carefully aligned with public health competencies to ensure the SC public health workforce is trained and skilled.

Xavery earned her Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science and Master's degree of Public Health from the University of South Carolina. She also has an MBA from Winthrop University, and is a graduate of the Kenan-Flagler Business School of UNC Chapel Hill's Executive Management Program. With more than 15 years of public health experience, Xavery is a Certified Health Educator Specialist (CHES) and serves in various positions for local non-profit and community-based organizations.
