Recipients of the 2007 Gerry Sue and Norman J. Arnold Awards, are alumni of the USC Department of Exercise Science. 

Dr. Melinda L. Irwin, recipient of the Gerry Sue Award, earned her doctorate in 1999 and is a Yale University breast cancer expert.

Dr. William A. Webster, recipient of the Norman J. Arnold Medal, earned his masters in 1993 and is a Greenville, SC clinical cardiology researcher.
