issues in research on:
- children's motor development
- childhood physical activity
Laboratory Facilities
PMD is housed in The PERCEPTUAL MOTOR DEVELOPMENT
LABORATORY on the USC-Columbia Campus in the Blatt P.E.
Center
- Specially designed rooms for diagnostics
- Large and medium size rooms for large muscle/gross
motor activities
- Smaller rooms for enrichment of fine motor skills
- Small rooms for promoting visual perception & body
awareness behaviors
- Office space for lab staff, lab director and student
clinicians
- Parent’s reception area and resource room
- Area for computer-based games/activities for fine
motor development, memory and other learning skills
- Computers, printers, video recording and viewing
equipment
