If so, PMD is the place for you!!!

The Perceptual-Motor Development Laboratory (PMD LAB) was established in 1981 in response to growing concerns about

  • The increasing incidence of lack of adequate gross motor development and eye-hand coordination problems in young preschool and school age children
  • The increasing incidence of learning difficulties associated with lack of adequate fine motor skill development
  • The increasing incidence of attention deficit and hyperactivity disorders in young school age children

Some 20% of young school age children experience delays in perceptual and motor development and lack the basic skills needed for optimal growth, development and learning. The PMD Lab provides special opportunities to design and implement the needed experiences for promoting optimum development of these skills and behaviors.
