Parking
Parking is at a premium on campus. Metered parking is
available outside the Public Health Research Center along
Assembly and College Streets. However, your best option may
be to purchase a university parking pass once at the
workshop—one dollar per day will purchase a parking pass for
areas adjacent to the Public Health Research Center.
Directions
From the north: take I-77 South into South Carolina. Get off
at exit 18 (SC-277 South toward I-20 W/Columbia/Augusta),
and continue on SC-277 South into Columbia, as SC-277
becomes Bull Street after about 8 miles. Continue heading
south on Bull Street until it intersects with Gervais Street
(US-378 W/US-1 S) (just under 1 mile). Turn right onto
Gervais Street, and continue for just under ½ mile. Turn
left onto Assembly Street (SC-48 South), and continue
southward for approximately 0.25 miles. At the intersection
of Assembly and College Streets is the USC Arnold School of
Public Health Research Center, the location of the workshop.
If preferring on-street metered parking, park anywhere along
College or Assembly Streets. If interested in purchasing a
visitor’s pass for USC parking privileges, turn right onto
College Street and turn right into the parking lot behind
the Public Health Research Center.
From the south: take I-95 North into South Carolina and
merge onto I-26 West. Continue on I-26 W into Columbia, and
get off at exit 115 (US-176 W/US-21 N/US-321 N toward
