Student permits may be purchased via the VIP web site, by mail, or in person at the Parking Services Office in the Pendleton Street Garage. Check the Parking Zones section of this page or call the office for details on availability. Call or email Parking Services for an application via email. Prepaid permits will be mailed to the student's permanent mailing address, time allowing.

Which bus can I take to the School of Public Health?
Use the Express Route (black)
if you come from the Coliseum, Colonial Center area. You can exit right in front of the building. The Red Line goes around the main campus and through the Greek Village all day.
Leave the bus at the horseshoe and walk about 100 yards. The Evening Route (purple) stops right at the Horseshoe while classes are in session.

Where do I get an ID card?
The CarolinaCard is the name of the permanent University ID card. It also includes two prepaid, declining balance accounts that can be used to purchase food and other items on campus. The card is available
at the CarolinaCard office in the newly renovated "Carolina Underground" - the lowest level of the Russell House (enter through the main entrance of the Russell House right where the Gamecock logo is painted onto the
road) every Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where do I get something to eat?
There are several local stores and restaurants with all kind of different food in close proximity to the department. You can also find a list of the current food service providers on campus at Carolina Dining Services of USC.
