Applications must be received by the graduate school and the application fee paid by November 1 of the fall proceeding the fall you wish to enroll.

How many students do you enroll each year?

Our class size is small. We typically enroll approximately 16 students each year.

What are your minimum requirements for enrollment?

Students must have an overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0, prerequisite GPA of 3.0 and GRE scores of 1000 combined. It is important to note that the standard for admission over the past several years has been considerably higher than this minimum requirement.

Who is this person Martha that I am always talking to?

Martha is the administrative assistant to the program and according to her, she really is director of the program. She can answer all of your questions.

I noticed that you don’t require admission interviews. Why?

Research has demonstrated that they do not assist in selecting applicants. If you would like to meet with us please feel free to contact us to set an interview up.

What are classes like?

Most of our classes are informal and students have a collegial relationship with faculty. We expect our students to be on time, attend class and when required dress appropriately. We treat our students as mature adults who know what appropriate behavior is. When they don’t we tell them.

What type of anatomy is taken?

Our students take the same full cadaver anatomy that the medical student’s take. Special emphasis is provided on the extremities.

Can I talk to students that are currently enrolled?

If you let us know this is what you would like to do we can set this up for you.

How much does your program cost?

This value changes, please refer to our web site for the link to tuition and fees.

Why is your program a half of year longer than most?

Our students complete an independent research project. We fee that this is one thing that makes our students different. If you are going to be an evidence-based clinician you need to understand how research is conducted.

Can I talk with individual faculty?

Of course. Go to the faculty and staff listing, emails of core faculty are provided. They will be more than happy to talk with you.

The research project scares me, I don’t even have an idea for a topic?

You don't have to!  Your ideas will come as you proceed and interact with faculty members. We believe that completing the research project is vital and makes you a better clinician.
