Statilite [pictured on the left] can compute a number
of common neuropsychological statistics.
- 1x2
- Chi-squared, 1 & 2-tailed binomial
probability
- Null hypothesis: outcomes are
equiprobable.
- 2x2
- Chi-squared; 1 & 2-tailed Fisher's
exact test; Liebermeister's Measure; Lancaster's Mid-P. Lancaster Mid-P quasi-exact test (1961) and Liebermeister's 1877 quasi-exact test (Seneta and Phipps, 2001; Phipps, 2003) are more accurate and powerful in situations without fixed marginals.
- Null hypothesis: the two groups have the
same probability of falling into the
category 'Condition 1' or 'Condition 2'.
- D' [D-prime]
- Computes sensitivity measures D', A'
- Computes criterion measures Beta, B and
C.
- Compares confidence intervals of D' and C
between two observers.
- Right triangles
- Computes viewing coordinates (adjacent,
opposite and viewing angle).
- E.G. A circle of 7 cm viewed from a
distance of 50 cm will subtend 7.97
degrees (when the observer is looking at
the edge of the circle).
- Oblique triangles
- Computes lengths and angles of triangles
using sine and cosine laws. Given angles
[A] and/or sides [S] missing values can
be derived from SSS, SAS, AAS and ASA.
- Coreg
- Converts between Talairach space and
neurological slices.

XLGen works Microsoft Excel to provide rapid data
analysis.
- Discrete data: Fisher's exact test,
Mantel-Haenszel Chi-squared.
- Continuous data: Mean, standard deviation,
kurtosis, skew, median, 1st & 3rd quartiles,
confidence intervals.
- Data filtering: 1.5 Interquatile range exclusion.
- Two-way comparisons: T-tests (related and
unrelated), F-tests.
- ANOVA: Up to 3 factors, repeated or unrepeated
designs.
- Regression: linear and non-linear regression.
Computes R-squared.
- Exports results to clipboard for inclusion in
Excel or a word processor.
