I want to take graduate level courses as a non-degree student, perhaps as prerequisite (or leveling) coursework before beginning a graduate program at another university. What do I need to know?

Courses in COMD may be taken as a non-degree student. Many of these are available via distance education (listed here), perhaps making attendance more convenient. Consult the Graduate Bulletin for information on course descriptions and prerequisites. Importantly, department/instructor consent is required prior to enrollment. Individuals interested in taking on-campus courses are encouraged to contact our Admission Counselor, Teresa Boyett, via email (tboyett@sc.edu) for additional information. Individuals interested in taking courses via distance are encouraged to contact our Distance Education Director, Crystal Murphree-Holden. Additional information may be found using the link below.
