In the Arnold School of Public Health, the Center for Public Health Preparedness (USC-CPHP) is a unique force among emergency preparedness stakeholders: we bring about change…change that builds bridges, increases performance capacities, and cements relationships among entities responsible for public health preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery.
USC-CPHP provides linkages between academic and practice partners, strengthening the preparedness capacity of the public health workforce.
USC-CPHP brings stakeholders together to tackle significant issues. Team-based training strategies are the basis of the Center's unique change strategy, providing critical networking and collaboration opportunities.
USC-CPHP performs comprehensive evaluation of its initiatives based on a logic model. The Center disseminates its products to reach target audiences.
