  • CPARG PhD Candidate Morgan Clennin awarded Arnold Doctoral Fellowship for 2015-2016 academic year.
    Four students from the Department of Exercise Science are chosen annually to receive the Fellowship. Winners are selected based on research productivity, progression through the program, merit, scholarly activities and publications. Congratulations, Morgan!

  • CPARG staff investigating changes in physical education exposure among U.S. students.
    Quality physical education (PE) has been identified as an effective strategy to increase youth PA and is one of only five strategies strongly recommended by the Task Force on Community Preventive Services. Despite this strong evidence, there is a widely held perception that physical education exposure among U.S. students has declined in recent decades. However, it remains unclear to what extent, if any, such changes have actually occurred.
