RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr.Newman's research
interests include environmental remediation,
bioremediation, phytoremediation, natural attenuation;
fate of contaminants in plant systems, genetic and
molecular properties of plants for metabolism of
contaminants, genetic engineering of plants for enhanced
remediation of contaminants; risk assessment as related
to natural remediation technologies; ecological
restoration. |
